Our Story

How RE5 Online Started

RE5 Online was established to provide a more structured, personal and accountable approach to regulatory-exam preparation.

Built from hands-on industry experience

Before RE5 Online was established, Hennie Vorster had already become well known for facilitating RE5 and RE1 preparation and helping candidates understand difficult FAIS concepts in practical language.

In 2026, F5 Academy (Pty) Ltd was registered and RE5 Online was launched to expand these services to individual candidates, employers and Financial Service Providers.

The goal was never merely to sell study material. The goal was to build a complete preparation environment with teaching, practice, guidance, accountability and real human support.

I enrolled on the RE5 Online VIP 1 on 1 course, which they had to restructure into a 3 week course because of my DOFA. Best decision ever. Here I felt like I was part of a community, and wherever and whenever  I needed help, they were there. Ulandi even scheduled a session with me on a Sunday! If you do the RE5 Online course, apply yourself and actually DO what the instructors tell you to, YOU WILL PASS. Also shout out to Hennie for his patience with me. Nevertheless, I passed with flying colour's. I cant recommend RE5 Online highly enough!
