Why we no longer focus on 2-day RE1 workshops

For many years, RE1 workshops were one of the most common ways to prepare for the exam. But after working with thousands of students and reviewing our own internal results, we made an important decision.

Sitting in class for 2 full days creates information overload

The RE1 exam covers a large amount of legislation and technical content. Trying to absorb everything in two full classroom days often leaves students motivated, but mentally overloaded.

Students may understand the content during the workshop, but struggle later with retention, revision structure and long-term application. The brain is not exactly thrilled when you throw two days of compliance legislation at it and call it a plan.

After analysing our statistics, we discovered that our RE1 Live Webinar has a 91.35% success rate. That is why the webinar is now our main recommended RE1 course option.

The webinar works better because learning is spread across evening sessions, students can rewatch recordings, ask questions, revise between classes and continue studying after the live sessions.

Please do not book your RE1 exam too early

Many students fail because they book the Moonstone exam before they are ready. Passing RE1 requires more than attending classes or doing a few mock exams.

After the webinar, students should complete structured self-study for at least 25 days. We recommend 1 hour per day, consistently, before writing the exam.

If you are unsure whether you are ready, ask us before booking. It is far cheaper to pause and prepare properly than to fail and pay again. A tragic little lesson many people insist on learning the expensive way.
