RE5 Live Webinar Times and Schedule
Our RE5 Live Webinar option consists of 5 live webinar RE5 evening classes of 2 hours each. All RE5 evening online classes start at 7 pm and finish around 9 pm.
The first 4 sessions of your RE5 Live Webinar course will run consecutively from the Monday evening it starts. Thereafter you will go on a 1 week RE5 Study break, where you will start to self-study for your RE5 exam. You can write down your questions about the RE5 exam content, especially when you find sections of the FAIS act and RE5 preparation information that you struggle to understand.
The following Monday evening you will attend the live online RE5 question and answer session from 7 pm where you can ask your questions, and our RE5 facilitator will address your concerns and provide you with answers and RE5 explanations.
You are required to do RE5 self-study after your classes, using our complete RE5 learning platform for a minimum of 25 days (1 hour a day) before you are ready to write your Moonstone RE5 exam. (You will have access to our RE5 online platform for 90 days)

RE5 Certificate
Moonstone is the only authorised examination center, mandated by the FSCA to offer the RE5 exams. You will receive your RE5 certificate from Moonstone, usually around 2 days after passing your RE5 exam. If you have been successful in the Representative regulatory exam, you will receive your RE5 exam results with your RE5 certificate attached in PDF, from Moonstone. (Using your email address on Moonstone’s records)

RE5 Exam Pass Guarantee Terms & Conditions
The RE5 Live Webinar includes a real 100% Exam Pass Guarantee! To qualify for the RE5 Online 100% Exam Pass Guarantee, the following conditions must be met:
- RE5 Attendance and Exam Attempt:
Attend all sessions as per the RE5 Workshop/Webinar description and attempt the RE5 exam with Moonstone only after allowing yourself 25 days of study time for a minimum of 1 hour a day.
- Minimum Results:
For our RE5 Exam pass guarantee, achieve a minimum of 66% for the following tasks in the Moonstone RE5 Exam:

Understanding the purpose of the RE5 exam and the RE5 Certificate
RE5 is not a qualification, it is a license for Representatives to offer financial advice or act on behalf of a Financial Service Prover. Because the RE5 is a license, you would not attend a RE5 Course, as it is not accredited, but you would attend a RE5 Live Webinar to help you prepare for the RE5 exam (which you can only write through Moonstone).
Passing the RE5 Examination is a requirement for representatives performing financial services. The RE5 exam is a Level 1 exam and consists of 50 multiple-choice questions that might sound as easy as 1 2 3 but are a far cry from the truth. The RE5 exam is probably the most difficult exam you will ever write in your life.
When you pass the RE5 exam, Moonstone will issue your RE5 Certificate.
The FSCA was established by law (the FAIS Act) to oversee the financial services industry and has mandated Moonstone to conduct the regulatory exams (RE1, RE2, RE3, RE4, and RE5). From the very first date of starting your career in the FAIS industry (known as your Date of First Appointment, or DOFA) you have 2 years to obtain your RE5 Certificate. This requirement forms part of the Fit and Proper requirements for representatives.
Before starting your preparation for the FAIS exam, it is important to ensure that you use the best study material for RE5. A lot of RE5 training providers offer RE5 study guides and other preparation material to study for the RE5 exam, but not all of the material available is updated and comprehensive.
